Very good lights, we put them in the patio of my house and it looked great. The remote doesn't have a battery but the phone app works well.
The cable from the USB to the Y-splitter should preferably be chosen to be longer in order to better position the LEDs.

I'm very happy with these lights. I don't have a power outlet in my front hallway but i can use a powerbank to power these. I've put the lights in a glass tree ornament and i think the effect is very nice. I still need to do more experimenting with the various programming options.

Very happy with these lights. The remote does seem to require direct line of sight with the plug however.
I don't know if they will last the winter, but i really like the fact they are easy to program (i set them orange for halloween, then i can leave them there for christmas, just switch the light colors), the on off timer using the app works as well.
Overall, quite pleased and much better than a previous set i owned.

Simply a wonderful garland. The maximum consumption from USB is approximately 1W. The remote control is normal, all buttons and modes are working. The ideaLed app connects and works as well. The batteries for the remote control were not included. A holder for a CR2025 or CR2032 battery that was not included in the set. The repairability of the garland is quite high. If a certain area stops shining or does not respond, then only one faulty LED could be responsible - either the last one in the area that shines, or more likely, the first one that does not shine / does not respond. Boldly cut off three wires before and after the defective LED, throw it away and connect the wires (with a soldering iron) as if there was no LED at all. There were no defects in my copy.
2 weeks delivery to South Ukraine. I'm shocked that such a quantity of LEDs can be powered by a 1-ampere unit from an old cell phone... but it works! and it works perfectly! I was very worried that by the end of the garland, the brightness would diminish. I was unnecessarily worried. After all, 400 LEDs is no joke!
HOWEVER, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND POWERING THE PRODUCT FROM A NORMAL POWER SOURCE. at least 10-ampere.
You will need to power it through a USB adapter because there is no separate power connector. but for a Christmas tree, even a huge one, it's quite sufficient. I use it for stationary stage lighting, and in my case the difference was slightly noticeable. Even without the app, the product is perfect. After the installation is complete on stage, I will add to the review, but the app is great, it has Russian language.
I'm buying it for the third time as a gift. I've been using it myself for about a year now, everything works without any issues, it lasts a long time, I'm satisfied, and I really recommend it to anyone who wants to buy 👍
It does everything nicely. Manual selection of operating modes, via remote control and mobile phone application. But it has one drawback. High consumption even if the light is dimmed to the weakest. For 3 meters of length over 200ma, and at the weakest lighting 25ma. There is consumption even when it is turned off of 9-10ma. I thought to power it via power bank, but all the ones bought on aliexpress turn off after 30 seconds. They do not recognize that something is connected to them. They only recognize when other batteries are being charged. So there are possible problems with powering it via power bank. It's a shame because i was thinking of decorating something where there is no 230v. Older versions with 2 wires consume a lot less, especially when the weakest lighting is selected.
